Eclipse Diary Day 1, Part 2

Well, here I am at Yorkeys Knob. The beach has lots of good sites for watching, but the thick cloud is a bit off-putting.

The wind tomorrow is pedicted to be 20 knots, not good telescope conditions. Hopefully I can meet up with a few of the astronomers I know.

Hi Ian. After a couple of tours at the amazing Undara Lava Tubes (the Kruszelnickis were on our bus - nerdvana) we drove through to Mount Molloy. The kids are looking forward to it. My bettedeckerschnapperweisel is just hoping it is worth it ! Here's for clear skies for all !!!
