Southern Skywatch November 2012 Edition is now up.

The November edition of Southern Skywatch is now up.

There's still lots of planetary action this month.

Venus is low in the morning sky and is close to the crescent Moon on the 12th. On November 27 Venus is close to Saturn.

Jupiter is in the morning sky near the Hyades, on the 1st and 29th the Moon and Jupiter are close.

Mars  is in Ophiuchus and Sagittarius near some nice clusters and nebula. Mars is close to the crescent Moon on the 16th.

Mercury drops from view this month.
 
Total Solar Eclipse on the 14th.

Leonid meteor shower peaks on the17th.
